Customer relationship management (CRM) is important to the success of any business. But, with everything that goes on in a business, it could be overwhelming to track activities and monitor the outcomes yourself. This is where Customer Relationship Management software comes in to play. CRM software can handle contacts, customers’ orders, and promotions via email campaigns.

How To Find Blog Followers, Readers, Commenter

12 comments :
So you started a blog, first it was for fun and you didn't care whether anyone reads it or not. Then one day, you get a comment or two, and that is when it occurred to you that receiving feedback is kind of nice. It became addicting and you now want more followers, readers, commentators. So how do you find more followers, readers, commentators to visit your blog?

There are a few ways, but to find followers, the most sure way is to join blog hops. 1) Blog hops can almost guarantee that you will get followers back, because that is the whole purpose of a blog hop. But are they going to be reading your blog for real? You can tell me in the comments below what you think.

I am sure you know, all of these 2) Social Medias, Facebook, Twitter, Google Friend Connect, YouTube started out with good intentions. It is to network and find people who are interested in your products or services for real, so that you can conduct real business. Then a few people started abusing the privileges, adding who ever and whatever to their profile so that they can inflate the numbers. Well from that point on, it is downhill for everyone. This means, if you want to impress your advertisers, friends, 100, 200, 500 isn't good enough anymore, because everyone else who is anybody, have an average of 5,000 likes, followers. Of course I exaggerated the numbers, but you know what I mean.

Okay, now that we know this is the way it is, and we can't fight what has already been blown out of proportions. Have you heard of the cliche: "if you can't beat them, join them." This is the exact example.

How To Find Blog Followers Readers. If you are not in a hurry to impress anyone, take your time and find the real followers and readers that will actually visit and read your blog.

Honestly, the best followers for me are the ones that truly appreciates me and my blog(s). Those are people who will visit often and leave quality comments. Another cliche, 3)"if you want a friend, be a friend." This is the only way to build those relationships that lasts. You will have to leave those meaty comments yourself, and hope it is returned with the same affection. Good luck.

Check Your Blog's Stats With Blogger Stats

11 comments :
Have you checked the Blogger dashboard lately? I did not discover the "Stats" tab until recently. It has been a few months of tracking and following, but I have come to rely on it religiously. It isn't the most comprehensive analysis of your blog, but it has some very unique abilities.

For one, the stats will show you which url, webpage, or website is sending traffic to your blog. How many times your posts are being viewed for the day, week, month and even now, which is the "immediate" state. It gives you Stats of your pages, if you have any. This is a unique option, since the pages are often the tabs on your navigation menu and it isn't a post that someone would normally search for on the web, and it is an ability which is only available through Blogger Stats.

The Stats' results are also consistent, or you could say it goes hand in hand with the new gadget option in Blogger for “Most Popular” posts. If you set it to be for the last seven days, 30 days, or all time, you can see that the Stats page not only show you the same results, but also will show you how many views the post received by week, month and all time.

I have enjoyed following the Stats pages tremendously, because it gives me an idea of what my readers are attracted to on my blog. Another nice option of Stats is the ability to see which words are being searched for your blog. It is user friendly and right to the point, which fits a busy person’s lifestyle nicely. If you use the Stats page and have tips to share please comment below.

This post is linked to Thursday Two Questions, click on the image to join the meme.
1) Do you use the Stats page?
2) Which of the options of the Stats page do you like best?

Who is Not Following You on Twitter?

13 comments :
Do you follow a huge number of people or blogs, but have very fewfollowers? You’ve worked hard to build up your followers, joined blog hops and forums in exchange to gain followers back. But then when you go to your account and realized half of those folks that promised to follow you back didn’t, or haven’t?

It could be that they are busy. It could be that they have forgotten. In either case, it doesn’t make you feel good, and it doesn’t look so good. Your blog's, or website's stats is like a resume. When you go to apply for account, an advertiser or an affiliate are looking at your stats; your followers, Facebook fans, ranks, and so on like your resume. The last thing you want is a very weak following.

I am still working on my Twitter following so don’t laugh at my count. I am just trying to help you find out who is not following you back on Twitter. Yes! It is easy as pie. No, this is not a paid post, and I don’t get commission or click credit what so ever to write this. I am writing this because I think it is only fair, if you are in those hops and the idea is a favor for a favor – you did the favor and the favor wasn’t returned, perhaps you might want to get a refund.

Here are the steps: Go to FriendorFollow.com. Register for an account. Then enter your Twitter account and find out who is not following you. You will be amazed at how fast the list pulls up and the next thing to do is just what you decide. Stop following them, or to send them a message to remind them. You have the ball in your court. For those who don’t care about anything, don’t worry yourself about it. It’s all just the internet, so just shut down your computer.

You can click on the Fans tab, these are people who followed you and you did not follow back. Sometimes they are businesses that jumps on to advertise their site. For me, I would follow back if it isn't obscene. Here is the thing, if you don’t follow back and they are any good in managing their business they will stop following too. The Friends tab list all the people who are your mutual followers.

Did you try it? It has been fun hasn’t it?

Create a Blog Button, Badge Code Box

14 comments :

Among the world of blogging, it seemed we would be doing ourselves a favor by having a badge, but it would even be better if we had the box that holds the html code for the badge. Learn How to Create a Simple Code Box for Blogger and have it readily available for your fellow bloggers. It is a friendly way to invite your fellow bloggers to “accept” you without shouting on the top of your lungs. They can just copy the code right off the code box and away they go with your badge. Whether they use it to feature your site on a blog hop or a spotlight blog, it would benefit you to have one ready.

When I first started blogging, I was perplexed to see badges and badge codes. I wondered why someone would want to have one and what the purpose was. I was so new to blogging and no wanted to display my site. At least they never asked, so I didn’t know. Well the day has come. I understand now why a website or blog would need to have a badge, because it is a representative of you and your site. And it takes time to send emails asking you about one, so it is much more convenient if you just had one already made up.

There are different ways to Create a Simple Code Box. Some are very time consuming, but this is the easiest and fastest way to make one, and guess what, it won’t be displaying a link to my website or anyone’s. So rests assure that this is the code box that you would want.

Join Me If You Have Questions You Can't Hold Back...

As some of you might know, I started hosting Thursday Two Questions Meme on Self Sagacity.com. If you would like to participate, please read the details here: Thursday Two Questions Details, or click on the badge below.

THIS

The meme requires a bit of writing - like two questions. Although Blogger Broadcast has a different audience, I recently started seeing a lot more writing blog followers. So I am hoping that those blogs would come on by to join the meme. If you have a writing blog, then the meme definitely adds to your content, because the questions will allow your followers to express themselves. Of course, whatever niche your blog is, you might also want to stick with those types of questions, or use the Thursday Two Questions meme as a special day off and just have fun with whatever you want your questions to be.

If you are interested in Google Page Rank, I recommend for you to read my Google Page Rank, What Does it Mean, Part II article. It will talk about traffic, content and linking.

Hi there Blogger Broadcast readers... I'm a new follower at Blogger Braodcast but I have already learned so much and plan to take a hand full of advise from Amanda.

My name is Cinella, CJR for short. I'm 26 and been married for just about seven years. We have two beautiful girls, 6 and 1 (might as well be 2). I have been in the blogging world for over four years but barley started blogging myself after having my second child and I found ourselves job-less. I had already been coupon-ing, cooking at home and wanted to start using cloth diapers, I wanted to share my experiences, tips and how to save on my blog. I would say that The Mommy Blog has been pretty successful. I love that I have made some awesome friends and hope to make many more. And just like Amanda I'd always like to accept Guest Posts from fellow follower or readers.

Once again, thank you to Amanda for letting me tell ya'll a bit about me. Please stop by my blog, The Mommy Blog or Gaining & Losing (all about losing weight and planning my wedding)! Hope everyone had a great New Years, hope to see ya'll stop by some time.

How to Install Comment Widget on Blogger

7 comments :
Comment Etiquette #2

The Comment Widget is a neat tool for both the blogger and their visitors. From a blogger's point of view, the widget serves many purposes.
1) The comment widget helps you keep track of the visitors who made comments on your blog,
2) it acts as one of the vehicles for the blogger to run Top Commentator contests,
3) it gives the blog owner a chance to promote and reward the visitors who dropped the most comments on their blog.
4) it provides a link to the commentator's profile and them show-off to your readers.

If you need more reasons as to why you should have a comment widget on your blog, Reach Beyond Limits has listed two additional ones below. And the step by step to install a comment widget on your blog. If you want to add a recent comment widget as well, check out her post: Easy Way to Put Comment Widget on Your Blog.

And when I am done with this post, I am going to install a Comment Widget for Blogger Broadcast myself.

How to Install a Comment Widget on Your Blog
    • Encourage readers to leave a comment
    • Let your readers know their comments are appreciated
    Step by step guide:
    • Then click on the first gray button: Add Top Commentator Widget to Blogger

Today it is about how you can Help Followers Find Your Blog

Most of the time when I click on a Google Friend Connect Profile, I find the profile isn't linked to the person's web page. The follower has chose not to display their blog or website on their profile. This makes it very difficult for someone to follow back unless they left a link in their comments. Yet, what I find so backwards is that they chose to display the blogs they had followed or joined. And sometimes I have mistaken by clicking on those and follow the first link. It is a bit of wasted effort, wouldn't you say?

I am assuming that most everyone that are following Blogger Broadcast would like to be followed back. Most everyone that has a blog is trying to promote something. Yet, they had left out the most important element of self promotion, "make your blog readily available, make it easy for people to find you." Most of all reap the benefit of your efforts of going around and following other blogs. Sometimes, in the effort of trying to follow the follower back, I would email the email address listed and ask for a link to follow.

Believe it or not, I do not get a respond back. As such, I am thinking the followers do not want to be followed back. Or that they don't know about this option. It is in your profile page of your blogger account. There are two areas that you need to pay attention to:

    1) General : make sure you put your blog url in this space. 2) Select blogs to display. Click on the link to make sure your blog show up, if not follow the directions to make it visible. This will ensure that your blog/ website is linked and connected with your account. Even if you are protective of your privacy, you can’t be shy about advertising. It is the vehicle for people to get to know about you and your blog.

    Have a wonderful New Year!

Lose Word Verification for Comments Already

    18 comments :
Comment Etiquette Part #1 - Approach post with humor.

word verification on a comment form for Bloggers
Word verification for comments (Blogger blogs) should just go away! Is there a need for it? After all, 1) you can program to get the email or notices on your blog's dashboard about comments. Blogger gives you total control.
    2) As an admin for your site you can set it so that the comments has to be approved before it's published. So SPAM comments won't be published unless you wanted them to be.
    3) The other way is delete the comments if you deemed them inappropriate, as an admin you have total control of keeping or trashing the comments.

I think you got the idea, now for the ranting part...I do mind having to enter the word verification. It takes up so much more of my time to just say, hi, I stopped by. Thanks, nice blog. etc. What's worst is the ones that tries to see if you are crossed eyed! I mean, gees, sometimes, the letters are either so blurry, on top of each other, or so mal-functioned that I can't even make out the letters with a magnifying glass!

    failed word verification

Bottom line is, there are ways to be in total control of your comments without using the word verification and causing your poor readers grief. Secondly, there is no need for those machines to generate such crossed eyed words that a normal human being can't even tell which letter it is. Why do those words have to be so hard to see? Even if they are testing a human being, it has to be readable with human eyes. Is a robot going to sit there and enter the letters?

Loose word verification from your comment form and make it easy on your visitors to leave comments.
Do you know something that is worth sharing? Please comment below. Thanks!

How to Protect Yourself On the Internet

    3 comments :
It's Monday and I thought we should start out the week by thinking about how we conduct our business or ourselves on the internet this week. Everyday, I think about how much information or how I am leaving my footprints on the world wide web.

When I have to take a break from my computer, I try to remember to log out before I leaving it completely. I don't want any hackers to have field day with my personal information.
Another lesson I learned is not to click on links that I don't know, because the links could lead me to download a virus that attacks my computer system. Yes, I had this happened to me before from clicking on a link in a search!

There are many other things you can do to protect yourself, but for starters try these ten things on Protect Yourself | Internet Security.

    Have a wonderful Monday!

Advertisers Want Bloggers with Their Own Domain

    11 comments :
One of the ways to get noticed and achieve fast branding is to have your own domain name... such as bloggerbroadcast.com rather than bloggerbroadcast.blogspot.com, especially if you are monetizing your blog.
Advertisers want to see that you have a "name" and a domain, whether it is [dot]com, [dot]net, or dot]org. Having your own domain name will increase the chance of getting more jobs from advertisers. Of course there are other things to consider when aiming to entice advertisers such as your website's traffic rank and Page Rank.

To purchase a domain name, use a reputable site like "go daddy", I am using them and have no problem so far. Or you can search online to find hosting sites that offer FREE domain name. You will find in some useful details and comments in my article FREE Domain Name very useful if you are in the market for your own domain.

And "cheers" to our very own domain.
