Wheel Chair Van Made Traveling Easier

I remember not too long ago when I had to travel with my mother and her wheelchair. It was very hard to accommodate mom, wheelchair, and kids. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to fold up the wheelchair to put it in the trunk. The wheel chair was heavy, and it was a mobile/ temporary one, not even a standard one, yet, the weight was still too much for me.

I recently saw a commercial about wheel chair vans. I was amazed at how easy it was to move someone from the wheelchair to the van and vice-verse. Not only that, the wheel chair van made it possible for someone to manage mobility even by themselves. The automatic ramp rise and automatic lowering was remote control at the touch. The ramp leads right to the driver’s seat and the driver can move from the wheel chair to the driver’s seat effortlessly.

I couldn’t be more optimistic and excited about mom’s future even if she has to travel with a wheel chair. I am happy for myself because with the van I don’t have to wonder about how I will manage to fold up the wheelchair and lift it into the car trunk. The van helps to bring mom and the wheelchair up and into the van without me having to struggle. It’s a minor detail, but I am glad there are choices in style and colors.

  1. Oh I know, the wheel chair weights a ton, and it's not easy to handle. This van is a dream for those who have to deal with wheel chair.
