This post brought to you by Fellowes. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am all for cleaning-out my paperwork and have been working towards going paperless. I am so excited to toss paper lately because I am thrilled with my new Fellowes 79Ci shredder.
I used to have my shredder tucked away because of safety issues, I didn't trust that Trinity might accidentally hurt herself with it. The safety issue made the shredder hard to get to, and that got me lazy in using it.
I love my new shredder now because it has a SafeSense technology that can sense the hand and automatically disables the shredder. I no longer have to hide it, or unplug it, it is always ready and I just love being able to drop the papers in when ever I need to.
I am very happy about the 100% jam proof too. I don’t have to wonder if I have too many sheets, the wonderful sensor in the shredder’s throat measures the thickness and automatically stops before the jam happens. Not like my old shredder - it jams and then stops. Jams usually wastes a lot of time to clear, or it could even ruin the shredder from ever working again.
A couple more features that will sure to excite you as much as are the Cross-Cut technology and the SilentShred technology. You know with identity theft spreading like wild fire, a regular shredder will not do the job! You will need the cross-cut technology of the 79Ci, which will be able to shred a single sheet of paper into 399 particles. Other regular shredders will make it easy for someone to put back the pieces, not with this shredder, it will be impossible to piece back. Especially if you are super careful like me, every once in a while I would take the bag that holds all of my shredded pieces and shake it up to make sure they are completely mixed-up.
Now, I have a habit of working late. That is because I love that peace and quiet best, it’s my most productive time. I am just so impressed with the SilentShred technology, it is nice and quiet so that I can shred my paperwork at night too. I am all for the technologies that make our lives better.
Which feature(s) do you like best out of the four I mentioned?
Thanks for visiting.
