More Savings With the Alternate Products

This is a compensated post written by me on behalf of Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

120x30_WalgrensTransparentLogoDo we sometimes have a problem buying food and products that are not name brand? I wonder why? A product starts plain before it goes to labeling…but we’re already sold on a particular product of brand and labels. I am becoming more and more aware of store brand products, and after this week I know to look for Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products every time I shop.

When it comes to my teeth, I am much more dedicated than other self-maintenance tasks. Some years ago I found out that brushing isn’t enough, you have to floss. And as you get older, I realized that you would even benefit much more with a mouth rinse.

Last week, we ran out of the regular brand of mouth rinse and were unable to get it at our favorite store because it was not on the shelf, so I decided to try the Walgreens mouth rinse. I was preparing myself for the sting of a life time, since my regular mouth wash stings me every time. I was surprised to find that Walgreen’s Brand Mouth Rinse didn’t sting me, but instead was very pleasant and felt exceptionally clean.

The best part is that it is much cheaper than my usual product. It is definitely a bonus to like something, and to be able to save money at the same time.

Have you used any Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products? If so which one do you like and why did you like it?

Since then, I learned a lot more about Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products. Not only they are great value but also are Walgreens pharmacist recommended. Most products contain the same active ingredients as other national brands and have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Walgreens Way to Well Fund™™ will provide free preventive health tests as well as other health and wellness services and education to local communities. Some of those services will include preventive health tests through the National Urban League Health & Wellness Tour and vouchers redeemable in select stores. Advertisement

  2. We've been using Listerine mouth wash for a while, and recently switch to store brand. Maybe it's time for me to check out Walgreen brand.

  3. Good to know I am not the only one who dislikes stinging. :-)

  4. Yuck, stinging is the worst part about mouthwash!

I love your question in the beginning about why we get "sold" on a particular brand of something when it all starts out the same before it gets a label slapped on it. Darn marketing, I guess! :)
