It's Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is slowing down and enjoying the family, but if you happened to be here, then please join me in these wonderful blog hops and fun.

Thursday Two Questions: Why join? There is a great group of writers, photographers, poets, cooks, etc., who are wonderful supporters, whose questions at times will have you think twice, which is great for soul searching, but it could just be plain fun. You can choose to make your questions serious or funny, it is your choice, let your personality shine!

Here are my Thursday Two Questions #11:
1) Many people put up the Christmas trees on Thanksgiving weekend. Do you think this is too early?
2) When do you put up your Christmas decorations?

Post your own two questions and link-up at Blessings Reflections:

  1. We got a couple inches of snow this week and school was cancelled. So we stayed home and put up our Christmas trees. I love to put the trees up over Thanksgiving weekend. I love the lights and decorations and really enjoy this season. Of course, I have grown to love an artificial tree. They are beautiful, perfectly proportioned, easy, inexpensive. Yes, I do miss the smell but narry a needle is found on my carpeting.

Hello, my name is Jana. I am now following you from the Thursday Thanksgiving Blog hop: Think of me Thursday. I am from www.adoctorandanurse.com. Feel free to come and visit any time.

  2. My tree is up because I'm getting relatives from Holland and won't get a chance to do it later. I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving. Want to enjoy those decorations as long as possible. So much work.

Thanksgiving for me means good friends like the ones I've met through Thursday Two Questions. I'm thankful that I've discovered you. Happy Thanksgiving and see you again next week.

  4. In my country we start early when the "ber" months (SeptemBER, OctoBER, etc.) come in the countdown begins. So I think Thanksgiving is not early. I start putting up the decorations after Halloween or November 2 which is All Souls day here.

And Christmas ends late too until the feast of the Three Kings in January! We really have a looooong holiday!

  6. Starting a new blog! How fun!
I put up my eight trees whenever I have the time and energy after Halloween. I have not started this year as I only have the use of one are. Of course, I do not think it is too early, otherwise I do not get it done.

I am returning the follow from my Channeling Ricky blog. It is lovely to meet you and hope to visit with you again sometime.

  7. I'm not sure. Maybe it's not too early. Esp if they want to take it all down by January 1st.

And I put up Christmas decor around the 2nd or so week in December :)

    Enjoy your weekend!
