Sis Knows Best

Guest post written by my buddy Aldo Mays

My sister told me about as well as some additional resources that would make taking over the shop easier. I think she was feeling guilty that since she lives all the way out in California, I’m saddled with all the responsibility of the store since mom died, but I don’t really mind since I’m going to be the one taking in all the profits! She actually gave me some really good tips (I had no idea so much was involved when it came to running credit cards!) and she knew a lot more than I did since she actually works in finance. There are times I wish she was out here to help me run the store but for the most part, it’s nice having the freedom to make my own decisions about everything. Kara’s great but she can definitely be hard to work with at times…it’s probably good we’re on opposite coasts! I’m getting the hang of this entrepreneurship thing and think I’m going to actually be good at it!
